Product Details

GermZone is an air disinfection device from the medical sector for air purification. It is designed for installation in the upper areas of rooms, where most viruses and bacteria reside. Utilizing patented biocidal technology and a transparent photolytic UV-C reaction chamber, the device kills bacteria and neutralizes viruses. This includes influenza viruses, as well as SARS-CoV-2 and others.

Maintenance Schedule

The following maintenance schedule is based on continuous daily operation of the GermZone® 100.

Filter

• Replace the filter (P/N: GZ-200-200) approximately every 6 months. If the GermZone®100 is operated in an excessively contaminated environment, it is recommended to change the filter more frequently.
• It is advised to regularly check and replace the filter mat in the device.
• To replace:
• Turn off the device and unplug it from the socket.
• Remove the fan cover on the power button side by gently pushing the top of the cover away from the body of the device. To do this, use an instrument with a flat blade, such as a slotted screwdriver.
• Remove the filter.
• Insert the new filter.
• Align the fan cover so that the slats point upwards. Press the fan cover back onto the body of the device with light pressure. For information on disposing of the old filter, refer to the "Additional Information" section of the manual under "Disposal of Used Filters".

UV Lamps

Replace the UV lamps (P/N: L1-0040-1) every 8,000 operational hours or approximately every 2 years, or earlier if the indicator light does not illuminate.

Caution: Use only original GermZone® 100 replacement filters and lamps to ensure the correct fit of filters and the operation of your GermZone® 100. The use of other products will void the manufacturer's warranty.
