Nitrile Disposable Gloves Shortages

The global demand for disposable gloves has almost doubled in the last year. However, raw material production and manufacturing facilities in the producing countries are at capacity, meaning that the production of nitrile disposable gloves could not be increased sufficiently in the short term. Disruptions in the supply chains and loss of production periods are also causing tension in availability and prices. Due to the technical complexity of the production process, we do not expect this market to ease before mid-2022.
